If you're interested in the animal care field Georgian College Business and Career Services has developed an Animal Care Worker certificate program in partnership with the Ontario SPCA to provide students with the skills needed to gain entry-level employment in a number of different areas involving non-medical work with animals. For example, graduates can seek employment in Ontario SPCA and afflilated Humane Society animal shelters, municipal animal control facilities, wildlife reserves and rehabilitation facilities, boarding kennels and conservation areas.
